Vaccination documentation remains a requirement for membership in BDBC. Furthermore, any person attending an event at BDBC must provide proof of COVID vaccination at their first entry.
Given the new CDC Guidelines, the BDBC Board has revised our COVID policy to:
Self-protection is still recommended:
You are advised to avoid crowded areas.
When appropriate and if you have concerns, wear an N-95 or KN-95 mask.
If you are closely exposed (family member, etc):
You are not required to isolate at home, regardless of vaccination status.
Masks must be worn for 10 days in public (our club) unless a negative rapid test is documented at day 5.
If you have COVID:
You must isolate for 5 days, then may return to public (our club) in a mask for the remainder of the standard 10-day isolation period.
If you have COVID treated with Paxlovid and experience a relapse:
You must again isolate and restart the clock on masking.
Club members should continue to report a confirmed diagnosis to the Game Director, to Michele Thomas or to the Club manager, Robert Whiting. When informed, Michele will contact that person and review that individual’s timing for return to F2F play at the club.
An E-Blast stating the specific game and date of potential exposure will be sent to members.
BDBC will mandate no specific response to this environmental potential exposure, other than to discourage any member with symptoms of illness from returning to F2F play until their status is known.
BDBC will continue to follow the CDC guidelines and modify as indicated in the future.
